Lifelong Learning for Adults

Attention KALS Members

The KALS Board encourages all members who have not yet subscribed to the KALS Connect Newsletter to do so as soon as possible, using the “Subscribe” link below. In July, we will be moving to a new registration system and need to be able to communicate with all members via the Newsletter. This will help to ensure a smooth introduction and transition to the new system.

Our Lifelong Learning Community

Kamloops Adult Learners Society (KALS) is a community of actively engaged learners who are interested in exploring and understanding a broad range of topics, sharing ideas, and meeting others who have similar interests. Classes are usually two hours in length and are single-session or multi-session of two to ten weeks duration.

Diversity of Courses and Field Trips

KALS provides a relaxed learning environment: no exams, no deadlines and no pressure. In Fall and Winter semesters, we offer a variety of courses and field trips with volunteer instructors who share their expertise and experiences. Topics are as diverse as your interests: from natural history, geology, and chemistry to politics, literature, music, travel, and personal well-being.
